Guitars under the Godin brand are primarily mid-range to top-of the-line electrics that are made of high quality wood from the northeastern part of North America. They have many models that feature synth hex pickups (MIDI-equipped) and some with piezo pickup-equipped bridges.

What makes the Godin Multiac so special?
This Multiac has a lovely, crisp presence. The guitar’s top is solid cedar. Tiny soundholes surround the controls for the guitar’s electronics. The classical-style gold/black tuners are teamed with cream pegs. Mention nylon strings and thoughts tend to turn to classical guitar. It needn’t be the case, especially with Godin.
Is the Godin encore any good?
The Encore is the more inexpensive model, but looks pretty similar to the others minus the pickup type. So I’m curious about the sound/tone of the pickups in each or any other info you can give. Thanx! My experience with Godin is that that make good quality instruments.

My experience with Godin is that that make good quality instruments. However their customer service is lacking. They do not provide a phone number, only email. I recently had a problem with one of their electric guitars and it has been a week now since I emailed them with no response.
