In light of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, it is with a heavy heart that we must announce the cancellation of Sakura-Con 2021. Active 2021 memberships will be automatically transferred to 2022.
What happens at Sakura-Con?
Please join us for Sakura-Con 2020 where all of the excellent programming you’ve come to expect will be back in abundance. Anime theaters, gaming, cosplay, cultural panels, dances, concerts, art contests, AMV’s, industry guests, over 100,000 square feet of exhibits hall, guests of honor, and more!
What is Sakura-Con Seattle?
Sakura-Con is an annual three-day anime convention held during March or April at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, Washington. The convention, which is traditionally held over Easter weekend, is the largest anime convention in the Northwest.

Hosted by the Asia Northwest Cultural Education Association, a 501(c)(3) non profit, Sakura-Con began in 1998 as a small, three-day event . a party for anime fans at the Double Tree Inn, in Tukwila Washington. The convention has grown dramatically over the years in terms of size and mission.
