How do Counteract Balancing Beads work?
Counteract works with two forces to balance out a rotating wheel assembly: Centrifugal Force Inertia. Centrifugal force is the natural force that distributes the beads evenly around the inner liner of the tire, while the Inertia is what positions them where they need to be.
How do you install Counteract Balancing Beads?
Counteract comes in an outside white plastic package, simply tear open the bag and inside there is a pouch of Counteract in a special thin mil plastic. Simply throw that inner bag inside the tire, once the tire reaches 65 Km/h the bag will break open and the Counteract will be distributed throughout the tire.
What happens if you use too much balancing beads?
When there is too much, it can create a “traffic jam” where the excess beads get forced into the wrong balance position creating an imbalance. There is certainly an ideal amount of product to have inside the tires, as directed by our application charts.
