March / April / May (Autumn) Some would say the best time to walk the Milford Track – temperatures are often still warm, the crowds of summer have lessened and there’s not quite as much rain as Spring. Keep in mind the Great Walks season finishes in early May.

Yes! I’ve visited and experienced Milford Sound a few times now (all on nice sunny days), and believe it’s 100% an awesome destination. If you’ve got limited time, but a flexible budget…the fly-cruise-fly option is amazing!
