Of the system’s 5.8 million volumes, the Thompson Library holds about 1.25 million volumes, including 250,000 special collections volumes. Additional book storage is provided by the university’s off-site Book Depository, which also houses the University Archives.

How do I use a printer at Ohio University?
To print using the MyPrintCenter web site:
- Log in to My Print Center.
- Click the Upload button to upload the document you want to print.
- Within one hour, go to any Libraries printer of the appropriate type (Black and White or Color).
- Swipe your OHIO University ID card and follow the instructions on the card reader.
Can anyone use the OSU library?
Only University Faculty, Staff and Students can receive a permanent username and password to access the Library’s full databases and eBooks. You may however access the databases in any of our OSU Library locations.

Printer/Copier services are located in all Ohio State library locations. Standard print size is 8.5 x 11 at a cost of 4 cents (Black/White) or 18 cents (Color) per page.
