Ring Protect Basic costs $3/month or $30/year for each device subscribed (in the U.S.). Ring Protect Plus costs $10/month or $100/year to cover all devices at your home (in the U.S.). Ring Protect Pro costs $20/month or $200/year to cover all devices at your home (in the U.S.).
How do I call my phone?
Steps for Android:
- Open the Google Voice app.
- At the bottom of the screen, tap “Calls.”
- Tap the contact you wish to call (i.e. your phone).
- Or tap “Dial” and input your number directly if it isn’t stored as a contact.
Does Ring work without Wi-Fi?
Ring Smart Lights still activate when they detect motion, but you can’t control them or get push notifications without a Wi-Fi connection. Ring security cameras do not work without Wi-Fi.
Can you tell if someone is watching you on ring doorbell?
There isn’t any way to know if someone is watching you on a Ring camera—at least not through physical observation. However, it’s possible you could see the infrared light at night turn on if the camera is active—assuming the night vision is on and you’re at the correct angle to view it.
Does Ring have a call center?
Ring’s Monitoring Center phone number is 833-209-2159. We recommend that you and your emergency contacts save that number as a contact under the name “Ring Alarm” to increase the likelihood that someone will answer the call.
How do you talk to someone at the Ring?
Use Two-Way Talk by selecting the microphone icon (available for doorbells and cameras). Your browser may ask you to give ring.com permission to access your microphone.
Can you use Ring without WIFI?
No Wireless, No Ring Video Doorbell Unfortunately, the Ring Video Doorbell simply can’t work without a wireless connection. A direct Ethernet cable access might seem like something you’d want on Ring devices, but think about it. Most likely, you’ll be using the Doorbell outside.
What happens if I don’t subscribe to Ring?
If you do not subscribe to a Ring Protect plan then once your free trial ends you will lose all recorded footage and new events will not be stored. You can continue to use the doorbell to view real-time live view, and you will continue to receive alerts based on motion detected by the doorbell.
